		<description>Yeah, any mention of anything that might even be hinted towards slavery should be banned from our receptive ears. Beacause some were slaves at one time I think it best to never mention anything that might have us even consider it. &lt;BR/&gt;Sheesh!&lt;BR/&gt;Let&#039;s grow up people. Slavery was a part of our history as was negro spirituals that make up this great country. We don&#039;t have to live in the past but we should also not shy away from it. We have become so silly in the pursuit of political correctness (something unattainable I might add) that we lose where we came from and where we are going.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Yes it was a slave song. but let us celebrate it in it&#039;s uniqueness and    it&#039;s place in americana. Blacks have shaped this country no doubt. Let us not forget this part either.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;proud southerner. Blacks, whites, neighbors.</description>
